The Rorschach Inkblot Test is a projective technique in which respondents' inner thoughts and feelings are believed to be revealed by analysis of their responses to a set of unstructured inkblots.
- Responses are scored according to a complicated system that classifies what people see when shown the examples.
- When someone reports that they see something totally different than what is usually reported, they may be feeling or thinking things that are very different from the majority of other people.
